Gods beautiful creations....

As the snow continues to silently fall all around us do we dare stop to even think how each snowflake that has fallen is different...not any 2 are the same. The beauty of it all is hard to capture but as a photographer I try as many others do. I am so thankful for the beauty but I'm also thankful for the moments that the snow has provided for us as a family....hot cocoa, a warm bowl of chili, snow cream, a very silly snowman, a hot fire crackling in the woodstove, a good book or a funny movie...Hayden playing in the other room sometimes quietly sometimes running and screaming through out the house, lots and lots of Spongebob....neighbors coming out in the cold to help push you out of your driveway when you are stuck and other friends coming from miles to scrape the driveway so that you don't get stuck again....God gives us the snow it us up to us as His individuals to enjoy it and it's beauty or not....I choose to enjoy!

It's all about the simple things....

We all live in a crazy world with crazy busy lives. Sometimes we all need to slow down and look around us and enjoy the simple things. I know I take so many things for granted in my day to day life. Recently we took a couple of days to go to the creek and camp...I only made it one 2 days and 1 night but it was so nice to sit back and relax...to listen to Hayden play and laugh...to listen to the creek running and the birds singing. I loved the smell of the campfire and the steaks cooking over the open fire along with fried pototoes. I can't tell you how long it has been since I sat back and just watched the clouds float by. God has been good to me and my family and I thank Him for all my blessings.

Tina & Taleese....

Recently I got to do a session with my sister and my niece and we had tons of fun! I think these turned out gorgeous but I may be a bit partial :) Taleese my dear you have the most amazing eyes ever! I love you guys and I'm soooo glad you all have moved here!

Callie & Laney....

Awhile back I met with Callie and Laney to just have some fun...Callie is wearing her mom's wedding dress which I think is sooo cool and Laney is Callie's niece and she is such a cutie. I love the way this session turned out. Linda I hope you love these photos as much as I do!

Oklahoma Photography Workshop....

I am home from a very long weekend....I learned tons, got to see some old friends and meet some new friends. But it feels good to get home and get back to work. I am soooo far behind and have soooo much editing to do. So thanks for your patience and I hope to get caught up soon...(do you ever get caught up???) Since I am so far behind on my paid sessions I am only going to post 1 photo from my weekend because I don't have time to get them all edited. And of course it just happens to be a shot of my beautiful daughter.
