Forever and ever my baby he'll be.....

I can't even begin to explain how it feels to watch your child fall in love... I have held him and I've rocked him, I've sat up all night while fighting fevers, watched numerous hours of Batman while he ran around the house with a towel safety pinned around his neck...I've watched him cry from hurt and watched him turn from a child into a young man...and now I've seen something in his eyes that only true love can put there....

I have spent many nights praying to God to bless my son with someone who will love him unconditionally...
soften his heart...
serve the Lord with him...
be his best friend...
hold his hand until their hands are wrinkled with age...

Megan has been the answer to my prayers. I can now step aside for my role has changed and I couldn't be happier and feel more blessed!

I love you both!!

Carson is 3!

No way is Carson 3!! I was in the delivery room for this little guy and have absolutely loved getting to take his photos! He is one of the best kids and his mommy is pretty great too :)

With every first there comes a last....

Today is Hayden's first day of 1st grade
          he wears his new shoes for the 1st time
          he carries a shiney new backpack
          he will write his name with a freshly sharpened pencil
          he smiled and told me he loved me as I walked him inside
Today will be the last time he will have the first day of 1st grade
          his shoes will be scuffed by the time I pick him up
          his backpack will be dirty from being thrown in the floor
          his pencil won't be sharp
But he will always smile and tell me that he loves me....
          maybe not in the same innocent way of today but I know he will always love his momma ♥ because he will always know that I love him ♥

I fell in love today.....

....with the perfect little table! Sometimes in life it really is about the simple things that are hidden away in a dark corner of a dusty old store. I LOVE IT! It couldn't have been more perfect! I hope you fall in love today too ♥

I miss Tybee Island and my friends!

I was able to go to Tybee Island GA back in April with some of my very best friends in this world. We all have a friendship that is not your normal best friend relationship....we all live in different states in different time zones...but when we get together it's as if time stops and there is not another person on this earth but US! I love this group of friends and I love how they complete me in a way that no one else can. When we were in Tybee I picked this shell up in memory of my dad...but today as I look at this photo that I took it makes me realize how much I miss my friends. This shell represents the way I feel today without my best buddies....alone.

Life goes on....

I stand strong against the world and the things that can hurt me that is of this world. God is my strength and He is all that I need to know, He is what has brought me to where I am today and where I am going tomorrow.
I have strength. I have dignity.
Its that simple.
It doesn’t matter what I feel or what people say or think; or what I THINK people say or think. The fact is… I have strength. I have dignity. Nothing and no one can take that away from me. :)

Watch Me Grow...Siena is 1!

Siena has been so much fun this year and I have loved getting to know her mommy and daddy too. It's always so much fun watching new parents with their first child. Thanks for allowing me to capture so many great moments in Siena's first year!!
